Liver Disease

Renal Failure

Avoid MEFENAMIC ACID if possible in mild renal failure

Pregnancy

With regular doses of MEFENAMIC ACID - increased risk of closure of fetal ductus arteriosus in utero & possible persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn
